The United Way Badge
We are beginning to create community involvement by utilizing our Agencies to promote our purpose, programs and cause. An example is one of the local Girl Scout Troops. They personally delivered brochures, letters, pledge cards and posters to all of our local businesses. This helped them gain confidence and learn how to present a project. The scouts can earn a United Way badge by participating in projects and conducting research on the United Way.
